Individual Sessions

Primrose Family Therapy provides a variety of techniques to aid you in working through many of life’s complications. Individual sessions range from 30 minutes to an hour based on the client’s wishes and assessed need.

Family Sessions

While working with children and teenagers it is important to understand they are not an island. They live and fit into a family, at Primrose we firmly believe in working with the family as a whole. Family sessions are encouraged while attending individual services.

Modalities

Therapy and how it is provided has changed significantly since the pandemic. Where once it was something mostly done in person, many studies have shown that telehealth services are just as effective, and we stand by that research. Primrose Family Therapy sessions are primarily scheduled virtually.

  • Primrose Family Therapy accepts insurance plans through our partner Alma. We are committed to providing personalized and focused care to our clients, allowing us to prioritize your individual needs and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in your treatment. This approach enables us to offer a dedicated and tailored therapeutic experience to support your mental health and well-being.   • The cost per session may vary depending on your insurance plan, as coverage can differ significantly. However, for those who prefer to pay privately, our standard rate is $100 for a 45-minute session. We strive to provide affordable and accessible mental health services to meet your needs.   • Confidentiality is a major component of therapy. The only exceptions to that are safety for yourself and others.

  • Our techniques are ever changing and evolving to meet client need. Some of the therapies provided at this time are: Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy
